You have GOT to check this 3 part video out. I chuckled, then became very embarassed when I realized... I've 'been there done that'. LOL
"Home Movies" from Cartoon Network's Adult Swim features three main charactors, (school kids) Brendon, Jason, and Melissa. They write, direct and shoot home movies. The coach, McGuirk, and other school staff appear in this episode.
...this Lil' ditty is Episode 31, "Renaissance". Enjoy!
So another year begins as the old one has ended and passes into memory. Two weeks into this new year and I am still not sure what to expect over the next eleven months. "Will it be a 'good' year or not?", I ask myself.
I was very lucky to have attended four faires/festivals this last year, I hope I am at least as fortunate this year. Living in Las Vegas for 23 years I was lucky to attend ONE a year. Unfortunately I still have not been able to participate in any events within the Adrian Empire group, but maybe THAT too will change this year... Or maybe I'll join another group in the Sacramento area... Only time will tell.
"Onward and Upward" says the Captian, and so we shall.

Greetings and well met fellow travelers,
Welcome to "Lord Freitag's Wandering Blog". I will be posting (when I can) little bits and pieces of this and that, as it relates to medieval and renaissance events in the western region of the United States. I belong to the Adrian Empire, a non-profit educational medieval/renaissance period re-creation group (wow! enough hyphons and slashes?!) . The group recreates the periods of 1066 c.e. to 1603 c.e. (I prefer the earlier periods - I look terrible in a "Three Musketeers" outfit) and I portray an early period (1100 c.e. era) German Saxon named "Freitag, the Wanderer". Poor Freitag has had nothing but trouble since leaving the Kingdom of Albion for the far west region of Adria, fighting 'godless Turkeys and bloodthirsty mercenary Deer' and trying to 'eek' out a living. But more on that later. I welcome any and all input, info or announcements that would be beneficial to my fellow medieval & renaissance re-enactors/re-creators (those fie hyphons and slashes again?!) . I am currently located in Northern California, having moved here from Las Vegas, and am trying to make the most of my separation from my friends in Albion and the Adrian Empire. Long Live the Dream!
